Get It When You Need It! -- Instant Hot Water Heaters
Are you shopping for instant hot water heaters? There are many different types and models available today -- and the wide selection may have you confused. Here are some of my personal recommendations; some of the better-quality models that are out there today --
A great company, which is manufacturing some very reliable instant hot water heaters, is Eemax. If you are looking for an instant hot water heater to mount underneath your kitchen or bathroom sink, I would highly recommend their model SP35 electric instant hot water heater. This is an instant hot water heater that a knowledgeable homeowner can install for themselves. Powered by electricity, it will provide you with plenty of hot water in your kitchen, bathroom or laundry room. This instant water heater is designed to operate on a 240 V, 3.5 kW, 14.6 amp electrical circuit.
If you need an instant hot water heater, but you do not have an electrical circuit capable of producing 240 V, then I would suggest that you look at another product by Eemax - their model SP3512. This model is similar to the model SP35, except that it operates on a 120 V, 3.5 kW, 29 amp circuit instead of a 240 V line. Like its cousin, this is an electric instant hot water heater, designed for a single-point-of-use application: a bathroom or kitchen sink, or a company restroom or break room, etc. The dimensions of this unit are 10.75" x 5.25" x 2.125".
There are times when you need delivery of hot water especially for drinking and the preparation of dehydrated foods. Many company break rooms have installed these convenient hot water dispensers for their employees. These are actually a type of instant hot water heater, and they are just as useful in your home-- For example, if you have a small, under-the-stairway vanity, and you can only run a cold-water line into it, you can install an InSinkErator instant hot water dispenser. I like their model H770-SS, normally priced at $340. This instant water heater is capable of serving up 60 cups of hot water each hour -- at 200°F! This instant hot water heater unit includes a stainless steel tank (to hold water before heating it), the necessary piping and hardware, and the sink-top faucet assembly. If you are looking for a natural gas or liquid propane instant hot water system, Eccotemp and makes a model that installs outdoors. This instant hot water heater unit can provide enough hot water for the average 3-bedroom, 2-bath home. It will provide up to 6.3 gallons per minute and is rated at 135,000 BTU. This instant hot water heater system is a "split system" -- it will run using the both gas or liquid propane as a fuel to heat your water. It is worth noting that with some types of instant hot water heaters, according to the experts, you may save anywhere from 20%-40% or more on your energy costs!
